Welcome to Hardwick & Cambourne Community Primary School
Hardwick and Cambourne Community Primary school operates from its well-established campus in Hardwick and since September 2012 from our sister campus in Cambourne. We cater for the formal education of children from 3 – 11 years primarily for the villages of Hardwick and Cambourne, but with a diverse catchment from across the local area. From September 2015 we have relocated our Cambourne campus to a permanent site, providing schooling across the 3-11 age range. This is being achieved through establishing a Nursery Class from September 2015. For more details about this new nursery provision, please link here.
We are committed to being a community school and as such various groups use our school buildings during the day and in the evening across both our sites.
It is important that parents feel welcome in the school. We strive for great relationships between home, school, parents, children and staff. A good understanding between school and home helps build a child’s confidence and development in school. The school depends on the co-operation, support and involvement of parents. If you need information or have any anxieties, please call in at school to see the Headteachers, or arrange a meeting by telephone. The staff of the school will always be willing to help.

The school was last inspected in March 2012 and the inspectors found many things to praise. Every aspect of the school was judged to be at good.
We were thrilled the inspection team recognised the very many strengths of the school.
