At Hardwick and Cambourne Community Primary School we have created a broad and balanced curriculum which fully incorporates the 2014 national Curriculum. It is designed to both prepare children for their next phase of education and also for their future lives in a modern and diverse world. Our curriculum also incorporates themes from the UNICEF Rights Respecting School programme within many topics. Teachers work together to plan equal opportunities and access to this curriculum for all children across both sites.

An important element of our curriculum is our Friday morning ‘Golden Mornings’. This offers pupils with many opportunities to choose interesting 6 week courses which extend their learning opportunities far beyond the National Curriculum and main school curriculum. Pupil choice is a key component of this curriculum offer. Courses utilise both the expertise of school staff, but also the expertise of parents and the wider community.
